Darryl Rielly vs Theo Zaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 08/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Darryl Rielly (4 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Theo Zaro(6 - 6 - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Rielly weighed in at 231 pounds and 12 ounces, while Zaro weighed in at 248 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Collins, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Jake Denniston and Clinton Waugh.

Rielly steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Rielly ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Rielly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Rielly lands with a solid jab.  Rielly tries to land a jab, but Zaro slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rielly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Rielly closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Rielly ties up his opponent.  Rielly is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rielly.
