Nori Kinoshita vs Raiden Taketa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Kagawa, Hiroshima,  taking place on 18/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Tokyo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nori Kinoshita (11 - 4 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Raiden Taketa(10 - 3 - 3) from Hachioji, Japan.  Kinoshita weighed in at 140 pounds, while Taketa weighed in at 139 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Ohta, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Kojima, Hideki Seki and Hisao Azuma.

Kinoshita is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Taketa's body.  
Kinoshita closes the distance and manages to force Taketa into a neutral corner.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kinoshita.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
