Quico Melgar vs Angel Vinas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Azuay promoted show at Ecuador-Azuay Gym, Cuenco,  taking place on 13/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South American Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico Melgar (15(1) - 2) who hails from Cuenco, Ecuador and Angel Vinas(9 - 1) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Both Melgar and Vinas weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Alcantara, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Magan, Ricardo Almas and Guido Truxillo.
