Mike Kinyonga vs Leeroy Akiror

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mayfair Casino, Nairobi,  taking place on 18/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mike Kinyonga (10(5) - 1) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Leeroy Akiror(13 - 0) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Kinyonga and Akiror weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Scott Merande and Elliot Lumumba.  

Round 1:
