Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 16/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Shevon Phaahla (3 - 0) who hails from Tembisa, South Africa and Canon de Beauvoir(3 - 0 - 2) from Bouake, Ivory Coast.  Phaahla weighed in at 160 pounds, while de Beauvoir weighed in at 159 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Grobbelaar, and the three ringside judges are Justus De Vries, Quannell Poku and Tlou Nqakula.  

Round 1: 

de Beauvoir throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
