Duncan Poovey vs Fletcher Lavanchy

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Sorrel Sauvage Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 27/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Duncan Poovey (3 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Fletcher Lavanchy(1 - 3 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Montreal, Canada.  Poovey weighed in at 107 pounds and 6 ounces, while Lavanchy weighed in at 107 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Elliot Girardot and Olier Paradis.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Lavanchy.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
