Siraj Karayev vs Waleed Basher

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Shahid Keshvari Hall, Tehran,  taking place on 15/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Siraj Karayev (13(8) - 2(2)) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Waleed Basher(14 - 1 - 1) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Karayev and Basher weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ali Khalifa, and the three ringside judges are Obaid Sharifi, Faisal Sala and Haaris Sylla.
