Waqar Rookas vs Vasili Alakbarov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uzbekistan-Samarqand promoted show at Haji Garakhanov Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 15/03/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the West Asian Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waqar Rookas (14(4) - 2) who hails from Medina, Saudi Arabia and Vasili Alakbarov(15(3) - 0) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.
