Alejandro Balasco vs Jose Abar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at San Jose Pintado, San Jose,  taking place on 16/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Costa Rica-San Jose Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Balasco (5 - 2 - 2) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Jose Abar(3 - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Balasco and Abar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Loredo Mesquita, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Dario, Juan Mora and Macario Gabaldon.
