Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 02/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brett Steel (3 - 0) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Mark Abram(0 - 2 - 1) from Fayetteville, USA.  Both Steel and Abram weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Spencer Aurelio, and the three ringside judges are Sid Hackney, Brett Sproule and Robert Corfield.  

Round 1: 

Steel hits home with an overhand right.  
Abram pivots to the side of his opponent.  Steel lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Steel pivots from in front of his opponent.  Abram throws a left hook, but Steel clinches his opponent.  Steel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Steel to stop fouling.  
Steel walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Steel lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Steel hits home with a left uppercut.  
Steel lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.

Steel lands a left uppercut.  
Steel steps inside.  Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Steel lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Steel advances into close range and forces Abram to retreat onto the ropes.  Steel lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Steel lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  Steel ties up his opponent.  Steel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Steel lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Steel clinches his opponent.  Steel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Steel tries to land a right uppercut, but Abram blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
As Steel tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abram dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abram's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Abram's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Abram's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Steel closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Abram throws a left uppercut, but Steel ties up his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abram to stop fouling.
