Owen Torrens vs Fedir Michal

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Elliot Gym, Bristol,  taking place on 26/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Owen Torrens (1 - 0) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Fedir Michal(0 - 0) from Odessa, Ukraine.  Both Torrens and Michal weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Duffy, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Dalton, Peter Arras and Gus Cruguet.  

Round 1: 

Torrens lands a left uppercut.  
Torrens connects with a sharp left hook.  Torrens throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Torrens advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Michal sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Torrens lands a jab.  
Michal steps to the outside.  Torrens lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Michal pivots to the right of his opponent.  Torrens hits home with a stiff jab.  
Michal is on target with a left uppercut.  
Torrens advances into close range and hits home with a sharp right hook.  Torrens clinches his opponent.  Torrens is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Torrens walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Torrens sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Torrens hits home with a left uppercut.  Torrens clinches his opponent.  Torrens pushes his forearm into Michal's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Torrens to stop fouling.

Torrens steps inside.  Torrens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Torrens advances into close range.  Torrens pivots to the left of his opponent.  As Michal tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Torrens.  That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .

Torrens tries to keep the action at long range.  Torrens sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Torrens's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Michal's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Michal steps away from his opponent.  Torrens hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Torrens lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Torrens connects with a solid cross.  
Torrens forces Michal to retreat into a neutral corner.  Torrens feints a cross, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Torrens feints a cross, and then lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Torrens feints a jab, but Michal ignores the feint and lands with a left uppercut to Torrens's body.
