Johnny Goldie vs Greg Buckley

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 02/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Johnny Goldie (3 - 0) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Greg Buckley(3 - 0) from Boston, USA.  Goldie weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces, while Buckley weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Sid Hackney, Spencer Aurelio and Robert Corfield.  

Round 1: 

Goldie feints a cross, and then lands a stiff jab.

Buckley throws a left hook, but Goldie ties up his opponent.  Goldie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Goldie about fouling.  
Goldie manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Goldie lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Goldie gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.
