Alarik Ankelo vs Anttoni Puumalainen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Pirkanmaa promoted show at Tampere Rajala, Tampere,  taking place on 19/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Pirkanmaa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alarik Ankelo (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Anttoni Puumalainen(3 - 6 - 2) from Tampere, Finland.  Ankelo weighed in at 237 pounds And 9 ounces, while Puumalainen weighed in at 247 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pyry Mikkola, and the three ringside judges are Pyry Mikkola, Hannes Kivela and Johannes Niukkanen.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Puumalainen has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
