Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Western Cape promoted show at Bay Hotel, Cape Town,  taking place on 28/02/2024:

Clearly AI South Africa-Western Cape have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Merk Buys (4 - 0) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Sammy Kalenda(0 - 4) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Buys weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces, while Kalenda weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Letsholonyane, and the three ringside judges are Kendis Quartey, Rob Ndombe and Cody Fuani.
