Mick Malcom vs Roger Elrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 05/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Mick Malcom (4 - 0) who hails from Sacremento, USA and Roger Elrick(1 - 1) from Boston, USA.  Malcom weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Elrick weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mings, Chris Suit and Mike Ruane.  

Round 1: 

Malcom steps away from his opponent.  Malcom feints a cross, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Malcom sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Malcom feints a left, and then lands a hard jab.  
Malcom finds the target with a jab.  
Elrick advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Elrick attempts to land a left hook, but Malcom sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Malcom digs in a right hook to Elrick's body.  Malcom holds on to his opponent.  Malcom throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Malcom about fouling.  
Elrick steps inside.  Malcom pivots to the side of his opponent.  Malcom digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Malcom holds on to his opponent.  Elrick leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Malcom is on target with a right uppercut to Elrick's body.  
Elrick throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Malcom closes the distance.  Elrick tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Malcom is looking to close the distance.  Malcom pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Elrick's body.  
Malcom lands a right uppercut.  
Malcom lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Malcom pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Elrick closes the distance.  Malcom lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Malcom walks Elrick down, trapping him on the ropes.  Malcom lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Malcom steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Malcom pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Malcom gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Malcom pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Malcom digs in a right hook to Elrick's body.  
Malcom closes the distance.  Elrick tries to land a left hook, but Malcom slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Malcom switches the action to the outside.  Elrick tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
