Jacob Mutinda vs Davie Rusere

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mayfair Casino, Nairobi,  taking place on 18/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jacob Mutinda (4 - 0) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Davie Rusere(3 - 9 - 2) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Mutinda and Rusere weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Merande, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Rob Birdi and Elliot Lumumba.  

Round 1: 

Mutinda advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
