Brendan Prichett vs Jay Gillmore

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Chapiteau CCSE Maisonneuve, Montreal,  taking place on 09/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brendan Prichett (3 - 0) who hails from Hamilton, Canada and Jay Gillmore(4 - 6 - 3) from Mississauga, Canada.  Both Prichett and Gillmore weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sinjon Bellanger, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Mark Mostyn and Aaron Henry.  

Round 1: 

Prichett pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Gillmore tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land an overhand right, but Prichett blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
