Leon Walsh vs Robert Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Daniel Donaghue Gym, Dublin,  taking place on 22/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Walsh (5 - 4) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Robert Gallagher(3 - 10) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both Walsh and Gallagher weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Hobbs, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Higgins, Shamus Quirke and Mark McClellan.  

Round 1: 

Walsh closes the distance.  Walsh sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
