Ross McNeil vs Brin Connor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Munster promoted show at Waterford McCormick, Waterford,  taking place on 22/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Munster Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ross McNeil (9 - 3 - 2) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Brin Connor(5 - 8 - 1) from Limerick, Ireland.  McNeil weighed in at 140 pounds, while Connor weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Evan Mohan, and the three ringside judges are Henry Ross, Shamus Brogan and Shamus Brogan.  

Round 1: 

McNeil is on target with a cross.

McNeil DETONATES a hurtful right hook on his opponents face.  CONNOR IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.

Connor gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McNeil lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!
