Hajime Kawakami vs Takeshi Takei

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Teva Ocean Arena, Nagoya,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Aichi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Kawakami (7 - 0) who hails from Ichinomiya, Japan and Takeshi Takei(9 - 5 - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Kawakami and Takei weighed in at 147 pounds.
