Dave Ojaamong vs John Gitari

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 30/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dave Ojaamong (12 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and John Gitari(9 - 5 - 3) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Ojaamong and Gitari weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Koimbori, and the three ringside judges are Chris Birir, Lisimba Kimeli and Manu Yator.  

Round 1: 

Ojaamong digs in a left hook to his opponents body.
