Alejandro Chavis vs Hernan Pizarro

Boxing Daily Report from the Quainoo Promotions promoted show at Eduardo Claro Gym, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 26/03/2024:

Clearly Quainoo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Chavis (4 - 7) who hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Hernan Pizarro(7 - 5 - 1) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Both Chavis and Pizarro weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Zambrano, and the three ringside judges are Diego Valdovinos, Rico Borjas and Neron Valdez.  

Round 1: 

Pizarro hits home with a right hook.  
Chavis manouvers Pizarro into the corner.  Pizarro lands a left hook.  
Pizarro tries to land a left hook, but Chavis sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chavis hits home with an overhand left.  
Chavis steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pizarro drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Chavis lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Chavis pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chavis's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Pizarro's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Pizarro's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
