Tung Dang vs Confucius Rong

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Hong Soo-Hwan Star Boxing Gym, Seoul,  taking place on 26/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tung Dang (16(8) - 0) who hails from Shenyang, China and Confucius Rong(6 - 10) from Suzhou, China.  Both Dang and Rong weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Myung-joo Soh, and the three ringside judges are Sung-ryong Pang, Sung-ryong Chun and Jin-hyeon Sheen.  

Round 1: 

Dang advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Dang steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Dang closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Dang ties up his opponent.  Dang pushes his forearm into Rong's face.  The ref breaks Dang's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dang advances into close range.  Rong throws a left hook, but Dang holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dang lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Dang lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dang tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Dang throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Dang ties up his opponent.  Dang is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Dang's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dang advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Dang is on target with a cross.  
Dang is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left hook to Rong's body.  
Dang connects with a left uppercut.  
Dang connects with a left hook.  Dang clinches his opponent.  Dang tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rong behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dang.

Dang steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Dang is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.

Dang steps to the outside.  Dang stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Rong throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Rong hits home with a left hook.  
Dang closes the distance.  Dang pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Dang lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Dang manages to force Rong onto the ropes.  Dang pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dang steps inside.  Dang pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Dang switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND RONG IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Dang!
