Bryan Brickell vs John McBain

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 09/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Bryan Brickell (6 - 0 - 1) who hails from Leicester, UK and John McBain(6 - 3) from London, UK.  Both Brickell and McBain weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marcus McCallen, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Christou, John Ahearn and Vincent Floyd.  

Round 1: 

Brickell steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Brickell hits home with a left hook.  
McBain lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Brickell steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping McBain in the corner.  Brickell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Brickell closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Brickell is looking to close the distance.  Brickell connects with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McBain dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McBain switches the action to the outside.  Brickell connects with an overhand left.  
Brickell advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Brickell drives a right uppercut into McBain's ribcage.  
Brickell throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Brickell lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
McBain is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McBain's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  McBain's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
