Tim Reece vs Dok Zoetelync

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 07/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Tim Reece (5 - 0) who hails from Bradford, UK and Dok Zoetelync(1 - 2 - 1) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Reece and Zoetelync weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Heriot, and the three ringside judges are Adam Ouimet, Owen Saunders and Brian Hall.  

Round 1: 

Zoetelync lands a cross.  
Reece closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Reece pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Reece advances into close range and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Reece holds on to his opponent.  Reece pushes his forearm into Zoetelync's face.  The referee warns Reece and breaks the clinch.  
Reece lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Reece drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Reece holds on to his opponent.  Reece leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Reece throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Reece ties up his opponent.  Reece leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Reece sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross to Zoetelync's body.  
Reece advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  Reece clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Reece lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Reece connects with a right hook.  Reece wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
