Ian Gillison vs Michael Cowens

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Colorado Springs Cattell, Colorado Springs,  taking place on 29/03/2024:

Clearly AI USA-Colorado have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mountain West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Gillison (10 - 2 - 6) who hails from Denver, USA and Michael Cowens(8 - 6 - 1) from Anchorage, USA.  Gillison weighed in at 135 pounds, while Cowens weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mostyn, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Wardrop, Mark Steven and Kyle Melrose.
