Davie Gibbs vs Shankar Mallappa

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 30/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Davie Gibbs (4 - 0) who hails from Memphis, USA and Shankar Mallappa(3 - 1 - 3) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Gibbs and Mallappa weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Hier, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Burt, Ian Noble and Mike Stobie.
