Wen Waung vs Dai Clouston

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at The Palestra, Philadelphia,  taking place on 10/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Wen Waung (12(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Harbin, China and Dai Clouston(7 - 7) from Cape Coral, USA.  Waung weighed in at 135 pounds, while Clouston weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Craigen, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Kuntzman, Declan Forbes and Dominic Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Waung advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Waung gets on the inside.  Waung sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Waung lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Waung ties up his opponent.  Waung pushes his forearm into Clouston's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Waung advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Clouston's body.  
Waung gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Waung walks Clouston down, trapping him in the corner.  Waung lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
