Majid Najeeb vs Malik Ahmadi

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Azam Malick Gym, Dubai,  taking place on 16/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Majid Najeeb (3 - 0) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Malik Ahmadi(1 - 10 - 2) from Dubai, UAE.  Najeeb weighed in at 199 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ahmadi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sajid Khalil, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Akif, Zafa Azzam and Asif Hamra.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ahmadi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
