Nick Skiver vs David Egerton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at New York City Crocco, New York City,  taking place on 02/04/2024:

Clearly AI USA-New York State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-New York State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Skiver (9 - 1) who hails from New York City, USA and David Egerton(7 - 8 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Skiver weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Egerton weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Purcell, and the three ringside judges are Bart Budge, Zach Moriarty and Rex McNiall.

Skiver is looking to close the distance.  Skiver pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
As Egerton tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
