Ulises Ocanas vs Baltasar Garcia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Turmero Resendez, Turmero,  taking place on 02/04/2024:

Clearly AI Venezuela-Aragua have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Aragua Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulises Ocanas (11 - 1) who hails from Maracay, Venezuela and Baltasar Garcia(7 - 4 - 6) from Maracay, Venezuela.  Both Ocanas and Garcia weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Hernandes, and the three ringside judges are Jose Rafael, Nicandro Prado and Nicandro Prado.  

Round 1: 

Garcia attempts to land a jab, but Ocanas blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ocanas lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  As Ocanas tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Garcia.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Ocanas advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ocanas gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Ocanas advances into close range.  Garcia pivots to the side of his opponent.  Garcia throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
