Edward Wadle vs Edward Murray

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 11/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Edward Wadle (3 - 0) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Edward Murray(2 - 4(1) - 2) from London, UK.  Wadle weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Murray weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Euan Culbertson, and the three ringside judges are Robert Llewellyn, Ronald McCauley and Kieran Saunders.  

Round 1: 

Wadle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Wadle tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Wadle pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wadle throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Murray closes the distance.  Murray pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wadle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Murray closes the distance and manouvers Wadle onto the ropes.  Murray attempts to land a right hook, but Wadle sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wadle tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Murray quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wadle strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Wadle lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Wadle switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.

Murray steps inside.  Wadle lands a right uppercut.  As Wadle tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Murray has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Wadle pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wadle finds the target with a jab.  Wadle throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wadle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Murray pivots to the right of his opponent.  Murray attempts to land a right hook, but Wadle sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Murray pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wadle is on target with a cross.  
Wadle is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

Wadle feints a right hook, and then hits home with a stinging jab.  
Murray steps inside.  Wadle pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
