Montrose Herard vs Michael Bower

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Ray Oge Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Montrose Herard (2 - 0) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Michael Bower(1 - 4 - 2) from Toronto, Canada.  Herard weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Bower weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Destin Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Smith, Verrier Luna and Laurent Marceau.  

Round 1: 

Herard lands with a ramrod jab.  
Herard closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bower is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but Herard blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Herard advances into close range and walks Bower onto the ropes.  Herard lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Herard sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Bower's body.
