Duncan Poovey vs Joseph Nish

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Ray Oge Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Duncan Poovey (4 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Joseph Nish(5 - 6 - 3) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Poovey weighed in at 107 pounds and 10 ounces, while Nish weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Verrier Luna, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Johnny Smith and Laurent Marceau.  

Round 1: 

Poovey is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
