George Patera vs Gustav Weberg

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Forum Copenhagen, Copenhagen,  taking place on 09/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV 2 Sport, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are George Patera (4 - 0) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Gustav Weberg(2 - 5 - 2) from Malmo, Sweden.  Both Patera and Weberg weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haakon Borges, and the three ringside judges are Viljo Salmonsen, Steinar Winberg and Ludvig Helgesen.  

Round 1: 

Patera advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Weberg feints a jab, but Patera is not fooled and lands with a stinging right uppercut to Weberg's body.  
Patera advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Weberg steps away from his opponent.  Patera lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Patera connects with a cross.  
Weberg tries to keep the action at long range.  Patera is on target with a cross.  
Patera pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Patera gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Patera pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Patera manages to force Weberg into a corner.  Patera connects with a sharp left hook.

Weberg manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Weberg sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Patera advances into close range.  Patera sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Patera connects with a right uppercut.  Patera ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Patera pushes his forearm into Weberg's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Patera lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Patera attempts to land a jab, but Weberg slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Patera gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Patera ties up his opponent.  Patera is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Patera to stop fouling.  
Patera advances into close range and lands a left hook.
