Bekim Meco vs Vanni Rastrelli

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Tirana International Hotel, Tirana,  taking place on 13/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bekim Meco (7 - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Vanni Rastrelli(5 - 9 - 2) from Padua, Italy.  Meco weighed in at 221 pounds and 15 ounces, while Rastrelli weighed in at 236 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Agim Gjikokaj, and the three ringside judges are Dritan Hamza, Endrit Tolr and Besim Idrizi.  

Round 1: 

Rastrelli is looking to close the distance.  Meco drives a right hook into his opponents body.

You can sense the frustration from Rastrelli now.    He pushes his head into his opponents face!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Rastrelli to watch his head.  He gives Meco a few minutes to recover.

Meco lands a stinging jab.  
Meco gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Rastrelli lands a left hook.  Rastrelli attempts to land a jab, but Meco slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
