Kris Gladieux vs Jordan Drews

Boxing Daily Report from the Tambo Promotions promoted show at Goose Gym, Pittsburgh,  taking place on 02/05/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Pennsylvania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kris Gladieux (10 - 1) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Jordan Drews(1 - 5 - 4) from Philadelphia, USA.  Gladieux weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Drews weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sean Carmona, and the three ringside judges are Michael Sutherlin, Peter Balmer and Zachary Caffrey.  

Round 1: 

Gladieux lands with a spiteful jab.  
Gladieux gets on the inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Drews steps to the outside.  Gladieux is on target with a cross.

Drews is clearly losing his cool here!   He advances forward with head down and it catches Gladieux in the face!  The ref halts the action and sends Gladieux to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Drews and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.
