Sasha Dukurs vs Oleksander Boback

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Igor Allikas Gym, Riga,  taking place on 20/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sasha Dukurs (10 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Oleksander Boback(3 - 11) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Dukurs weighed in at 107 pounds And 3 ounces, while Boback weighed in at 107 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Toma Pakalnieks, and the three ringside judges are Konstantin Pipkalejs, Konstantin Pipkalejs and Fadei Zvaigznite.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dukurs dabs at his face checking for damage.
