Blake Mamon vs Jay Hannigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 29/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Blake Mamon (6 - 0) who hails from Providence, USA and Jay Hannigan(0 - 2) from Warren, USA.  Mamon weighed in at 107 pounds And 11 ounces, while Hannigan weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Kinna, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, Corey Barnes and Mike Ruane.  

Round 1: 

Mamon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Hannigan is looking to close the distance.  Mamon connects with a left hook.
