Leon Geels vs Amer Naseer

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palladium Ballroom, Dallas,  taking place on 23/03/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Leon Geels (4 - 0) who hails from Henderson, USA and Amer Naseer(1 - 3 - 2) from San Francisco, USA.  Geels weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces, while Naseer weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Cornejo, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Rasul, Amon East and Arthur Kinna.

Geels gets on the inside.  Naseer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Geels lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Geels steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Geels advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Geels gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Naseer hits home with a cross.  Naseer attempts to land a jab, but Geels slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Geels steps inside.  Geels is on target with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Geels dabs at his face checking for damage.  Geels has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Geels is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Geels closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Naseer's body.

Geels lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Naseer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Geels lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Naseer switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Geels blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
