Marik Karban vs Blazej Kawa

Boxing Daily Report from the Silver Boxing Promotion promoted show at Silver Gym, Warsaw,  taking place on 01/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Marik Karban (5 - 0) who hails from Warsaw, Poland and Blazej Kawa(7 - 6(1)) from Krakow, Poland.  Both Karban and Kawa weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leszek Sroczynski, and the three ringside judges are Metody Pokrzywnicki, Leszek Sroczynski and Maksymilian Biskup.  

Round 1: 

Karban steps inside.  Karban pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kawa gets on the inside.  Karban leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kawa accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Karban.  
Kawa finds the target with a jab.  
Karban is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Karban lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Karban lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Karban lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.

Kawa is on target with a left hook.  
Karban lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Karban drives a cross into Kawa's body.  
Karban lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Karban is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Karban steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Karban steps to the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Karban closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.

Karban connects with a solid right hook.  
Karban lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Karban lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Karban connects with a firm cross.  
Kawa lands a left hook.  
Karban advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kawa attempts to land a left hook, but Karban sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Karban is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  Karban ties up his opponent.  Karban leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
