Stephen Addison vs Dominic Michel

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at JSW Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Stephen Addison (3 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Dominic Michel(0 - 6) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Addison and Michel weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark McBride, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Sabir, Mark Givan and Leeroy Nicolaides.  

Round 1: 

Addison is looking to close the distance.  Addison drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.

Michel tries to land a right hook, but Addison sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Addison feints a right hook, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Addison pivots to the left of his opponent.  Michel tries to land a right uppercut, but Addison sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Addison is looking to close the distance.  Addison sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Michel tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Addison pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Addison wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Michel dabs at his face checking for damage.

Addison pivots to the side of his opponent.  Addison throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Addison steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Michel steps inside.  Michel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Addison digs in a right uppercut to Michel's ribcage.  
Addison closes the distance.  Addison steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Michel steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Addison lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Addison digs in a right uppercut to Michel's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Michel's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Michel's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Michel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
