Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Estadio Osvaldo Casanova, Bahía Blanca,  taking place on 02/05/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South American Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TyC Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iago Gerardo (13(2) - 4(1)) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Malvolio Elias(14 - 2 - 1) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Gerardo weighed in at 154 pounds, while Elias weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Senon Rodrigo, and the three ringside judges are Frisco Mosquera, Quito Alverez and Noe Lacayo.
