Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Brisbane Conference Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 18/04/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy The Brisbane Bomber Wight (11(5) - 0) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and David Zaza(9(1) - 1 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Wight and Zaza weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Elgin, and the three ringside judges are Mark Taggert, Dave Evan and James Westwood.
