Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Omsk Arena, Omsk,  taking place on 12/04/2024:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Rossiya 2, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ingvar Matthiesen (5(2) - 0) who hails from Aarhus, Denmark and Fadei Onopko(11 - 3 - 1) from Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Both Matthiesen and Onopko weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dmitri Markin, and the three ringside judges are Viktor Tsybulnikov, Viktor Tsybulnikov and Gennady Golubev.  

Round 1: 

Matthiesen gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Matthiesen closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Onopko switches the action to the outside.  Matthiesen feints a jab, but Onopko is not fooled and is on target with a left uppercut.

Onopko sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matthiesen lands a cross.
