Quaddus Kaunda vs Granger Cissoko

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi,  taking place on 06/04/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Quaddus Kaunda (4 - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Granger Cissoko(7 - 4 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Kaunda and Cissoko weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Merande, and the three ringside judges are Sam Konchellah, Richie Bitok and Noah Odoyo.  

Round 1: 

Kaunda lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Kaunda advances into close range.  Cissoko pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kaunda lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Kaunda clinches his opponent. Kaunda closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Kaunda ties up his opponent.  Kaunda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Kaunda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
