Mondli Lakay vs Sajid Barghouti

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 19/04/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mondli Lakay (13(1) - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Sajid Barghouti(11 - 4) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Lakay weighed in at 200 pounds, while Barghouti weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Jali, and the three ringside judges are Ndumisa Ntuli, Dillon Strydom and Peter Mbalula.
