Paul Sand vs Mick Guffy

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 02/04/2024:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Paul Sand (1 - 0 - 1) who hails from San Diego, USA and Mick Guffy(1 - 1 - 2) from Mesa, USA.  Sand weighed in at 121 pounds And 15 ounces, while Guffy weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Corfield, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Kinna, Sid Hackney and Bryan Priddy.  

Round 1: 

Sand lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sand is on target with a jab.  
Sand tries to land a jab, but Guffy sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Guffy switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Sand slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Sand advances into close range and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Sand steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sand is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Sand drives a left uppercut into Guffy's liver.  
Sand lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sand lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sand gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Guffy tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Sand is on target with a left hook to Guffy's body.  
Sand forces Guffy to retreat into a neutral corner.  Sand is on target with a cross.
