Dave Boyle vs Gordon Fergusson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Ken Argall Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 25/03/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave Boyle (2 - 1) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Gordon Fergusson(2 - 0) from London, UK.  Both Boyle and Fergusson weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas Ryan, and the three ringside judges are Ed McPhatter, Peter McAlister and James Matthew.  

Round 1: 

Fergusson advances into close range.  Boyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Fergusson steps inside.  Boyle hits home with a firm left uppercut.  
Boyle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Boyle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Boyle holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
