Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 31/03/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brett Steel (4 - 0) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Ian Colton(0 - 2 - 3) from Rockford, USA.  Both Steel and Colton weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Kinna, and the three ringside judges are Danny Henderson, Stuart Ferrera and Andy Saenz.  

Round 1: 

Steel lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Steel lands a stinging right hook.  Steel ties up his opponent.  Steel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Steel lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Steel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Steel pushes his forearm into Colton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Steel about fouling.  
Steel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Steel lands a solid right hook.  Steel clinches his opponent.  Steel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Steel digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Steel lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Steel is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Steel lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Colton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Steel lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Steel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Steel is on target with a left hook to Colton's body.  Steel tries to land a right hook, but Colton parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Steel gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Colton's liver.  
Steel throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Steel clinches his opponent.  Steel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Steel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Steel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
